Interview notes are deleted after 30 days

When you run a debrief, the role title, competencies, interviewer initials, notes and the generated results are stored so the debrief can be produced and checked for problems. All of it is deleted automatically 30 days after it is submitted. Copy or download your memo if you need to keep it.

What we collect

• Debrief content you type or paste: role title, competencies, interviewer initials and notes.
• Work email, only for the free debrief, to apply the 1-a-month limit.

We don't ask for candidate names and recommend you leave them out of notes.

Your logo

If you add your logo and company name to a debrief, they stay in your browser. We never receive them. Remove them any time with the Remove button, or by clearing this site's data in your browser.

Payments

When you pay, Stripe processes your payment and gives us your name, email, the amount and the last 4 digits of your card. Stripe's privacy policy applies to the card details you give it. We keep payment records for 7 years for tax and accounting.

Your browser stores your plan's checkout reference, so the site knows what you can run. We send the checkout reference only to Stripe, to check your plan.

When you run a free debrief, we keep the email you enter and the month you used it, to apply the 1-a-month limit. We don't email you or share it. These records are deleted after 13 months.

For paid plans, we keep a record of each debrief run with your checkout reference, and for a per hire plan, the role it covers. Run records are deleted after 13 months, and the per hire role 60 days after it's set.

How it's used

• Our AI features run through Lovable's AI gateway (Lovable AB), which sends what you submit (for example bill text or images, or interview notes) to an AI model provider such as Google, OpenAI or Anthropic to produce your result. We have turned off Lovable's setting that keeps full AI requests; Lovable keeps only a short record of each request (time, model and size, not the content). The model provider may keep content for a limited time for abuse monitoring, often about 30 days and longer if its safety systems flag it. Lovable states this data is not used to train AI models. Our own copy of your notes and results is deleted 30 days after you submit them. We use it only to produce your scorecard and memo.

Site visits

We count visits with our own simple counter. It saves a random ID in your browser (not a cookie) and records the page you view, the site that sent you, any campaign tags in the link, and whether you’re on a phone, tablet or computer. We don’t store your name or email with it, we don’t use your IP address to identify you, and we don’t sell or share this data or use it for ads. You can remove the ID any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser.

When the counter records a visit, our network provider, Cloudflare, may set a short-lived security cookie (__cf_bm, about 30 minutes) to filter out bots. We don't use it to identify or track you.

No ad trackers

No ad trackers or ad pixels. We count visits with our own simple counter (see Site visits).

Protected traits

Debrief Desk is designed never to score age, race, color, sex, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, disability or health, accommodation, genetic information, national origin, citizenship, veteran status or salary history. If notes mention one, it shows a warning and leaves that content out of the scorecard and memo. Please don't paste medical, disability or other protected information about candidates.
